I posted an update regarding Mental Health and Horror in our Discord last week but I realize that not everyone can see that, so I'm sharing what I posted here on BlueSky. I will continue to do so from here on forward.

There are little hints and storylines throughout. My recommendation is to use the cheats in the menu and go full God mode through Control. Focus on the story, atmosphere, and experience, which I think is so damn cool.

Before AW 1 or 2? Definitely before 2 but certainly after 1. There's an AW-centered DLC with Control that is very fun and creepy. The way everything connects together is so cool.

#AlanWake2 is incredible. Built upon the familiar foundations of survival horror, the game treads new territory in brilliant and charming ways while expanding, through fascinating approaches, the universe started by AW and Control. It honestly feels like the next stage of video game evolution.

My stepdad's death has been difficult to process. Complicated relationships often are. But I've been missing him lately, which is confusing and painful on its own. I wrote this before he died and I needed to share it.

10 years ago, some friends and I ate at a local restaurant called Pacific Rim before going to the theaters for, you guessed it, Pacific Rim. We all made a pact that when the Jaeger used the ship as a weapon we would jump up and cheer. The audience was not amused but we didn't care.

Love this movie.
