People don’t care if politicians lie about things that don’t matter to them personally. They think the ends justify the means. Most people think every politician lies sometimes, so the liar trait is not in itself disqualifying.

Sigh. Obviously no. Just not sure about making an announcement. Hunt them down. No doubt about that.

Those leaders probably have more to gain, politically, by showing their constituents they’re taking action than they have to lose by inflaming relations with the orange one.

Perhaps it’s not there there isn’t an investigation ongoing…I bet there is. But an announcement of such would be a political thing to do and might be perceived to be hostile to the White House. Could draw ire without helping get the thing done, which is charging people with crimes.

Some like that he is so conventionally unacceptable because it lines up with the values of American Exceptionalism. American institutions should be able to blatantly break the rules and do whatever to pursue America’s interests and they like that he is a symbol of that.

I don’t think he’d be better. In power, he would shut down dissent and pander to the extreme parts of the con base — in the shadows. It was awful living in alberta with him as premier.

If another Con floor-crossing gives the Libs a majority, Guilbeault should join Greens to hold balance of power.

Wow. Reading the first post of each account on this list makes you realize how dire the propaganda situation is. Blocked it all. I can’t have that in my face on here. Just no.

I feel a different dissonance. In the contemporary world authoritarians don’t generally call themselves kings. It’s not a great slogan, especially outside of the American historical context. I wish the American protests had a different name.

Ok. But but who is he dating? I’d like to decide if I care once I know who it is. 😂

Candidate in federal Alberta byelection stops door-knocking due to death threats An Independent candidate running in a rural Alberta byelection says she has stopped door-knocking because of death threats.

A transgender woman is running in one of Canada’s most conservative ridings—just showing up so others feel seen. Now she’s getting death threats for knocking on doors.

Her name is Sarah Spanier. She’s brave. She deserves safety.

So many deeply uncool things about this…one of them surely must be that there is a kiss cam at a cold play concert?
