When you’ve been traumatised by assault, you know how hard it is to come out with your story, that nobody is in your corner and nobody believes you. How you hide yourself away in your home out of fear of ever running into them again. Hell, I disrupted my education and moved to another country. To see people that even claim to believe you continue to associate with those that hurt you. How some people know and simply don’t care. It is categorically EVIL and DISGUSTING to take advantage of the people who have been through this trauma to spread false allegations that make our lives harder. An affair is awful enough for the parties involved but how twisted and bitter do you have to be to do this? The amount of people that have been hurt by this is insanity. I have a tonne of remorse and guilt and that’s for believing someone that cried the tears I cried but that was out of wanting for a man???? Who has that little amount of self respect???? People have affairs and stay all the time. Our

personal opinions on other peoples relationships are just that, opinions and you can agree it’s a shitty thing to do but you can’t dictate how other people live their lives or if they choose to forgive. You can change your opinion about someone for being unfaithful without making them a criminal. Through reflection i feel like mine and other’s pain was weaponised. The trauma that runs through me is very much linked to my chronic pain condition and I need to get this all out in the open so that hopefully i can heal due to being bedridden all day. I was wrong and my own trauma led to an instinct to believe an accuser due to walking that road and knowing how hard that is. I feel terrible for Kayla in this situation. Daniel fucked up but is not a criminal, even tho his reputation is tarnished simply from being unfaithful. Naomi needs both serious therapy and a civil suit at minimum and possibly a criminal case. I’m angry and sad and forever changed. I’m sorry.

sexual assault provokes very intense feelings among people, and for good reason. weaponizing allegations of SA will only further harm victims, prevent them from speaking out, and further enable abusers to hide behind the “false accusation” narrative.

i am very disappointed in myself for jumping to conclusions. now that i’m aware of the full story, i can tell that i and many others were intentionally misled, and this was an intentional character assassination of daniel. i truly apologize for the damage done to his reputation.
