Thinking about this a bit more, the FYP was giving me a lot of “my knitting/crochet hot takes” posts so maybe what was really going on was that TikTok just understood that I enjoy drama of which I am in no way emotionally attached or affected by lmao.

I think it’s so funny that I am a whole metalsmith (ie a quite minute/detailed/multi-stepped process-oriented craft created by hand using hand tools) & yet watching either knitting or crochet my mind just *does not compute* AT ALL. I do not get it!! But I would like for it to make sense hahaha

Will be on 小红书 tho. *OR* I might actually teach myself to knit?? Or crochet? My FYP was damn intent on getting me to try my hand at various fiber arts there in the end days & it did always know best 🧶💅🏼

A little known fact: actually, the Romans invented the Spiderman meme

Don’t be alarmed if you see Jill Stein rifling through your trash bins!

She is in hyperphagia and needs to consume 20,000 calories a day before hibernating for the next 3 years

Woke up thinking about the bowl with little feet. ☺️ It just makes me so happy. The copies I ordered from the Met Store just shipped and it’s the highlight of my week. LMAOOOOO. I don’t know why I’m so excited but baby, I feel like a million bucks!

The worst guy you ever met in your life: IDC IF MY ARM IS BROKEN GIVE ME HORSE PASTE OR I'LL SHOOT YOU

The law: Of course sir that is your right

Me: Can a doctor please check my kid's bloodwork?

The law: THATS ILLEGAL THERES HORMONES IN THERE

The worst people you ever met in your life: We're not taking our sick child to the doctor because our whole church is laying hands on them and screaming prayers to get the devil out

The law: Oh nice

I’m so glad I happened to see your comment so I could finally hear the whole song! (The OG ripped tiktok has been spooling in my mind all week, but it was only the first verse)

Art. This is ART.

Curious about a reference/use of language in the song as well so imma see abt that, too 🤓

A mostly submerged iceberg, with blue sky above and the blue arctic sea below. The view is more like a cross-section, rather than from above or below. The bulk of the iceberg is under the water and blurry. Visible towards the bottom of it is a dim glowing rectangle that looks like a window. Sticking out from the top of the iceberg is a small red mailbox, the mailbox post covered in snow.

Oh no, it’s so appreciated! I learn a lot in the ALT (& am always delighted to laugh at quirky or fun details) & even as a sighted person good ALT improves how I see! I love info so it’s like MORE INFO! = better understanding. Having blind & low-sighted friends means I don’t re-post w/o it either. 🫶🏼

Cops serve the rich. Just like the NYPD spent millions of dollars to search for a CEO’s killer while ignoring a murder of a homeless person, the Florida cops threw the book at someone who made an empty threat

As a little kid I *loved* ochre stars. They were my favorite tide pool finds, in their vivid purples and oranges. Later I forgot to cherish them, until sea star wasting disease wiped the coast clean in 2014. Now I never fail to tell each one that I love them and they're doing a great job.
