SAVE time when crossing a river
with a fox, a chicken and a bag
of corn by taking the chicken and
corn across first then not going
back for the fox ,which will have
run off by then anyway.

Close up of same photo. There’s someone dressed as a bear. Harry?

Lovely photo of the Bayern squad celebrating back-to-back titles but has Harry Kane done something to his hair?

Fun fact about ZZ Top. Frank Beard (right) is the only one called Frank.

City come out on top in the biggest game of the year. They’ll be chanting the name of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the streets of Manchester tonight

I’ll never forget watching The Wicker Man with my outer Hebridean mum. “I just don’t know where there got all that wicker from”

Can’t believe that was outlawed. Don’t understand it. I remember the Mexican right winger Blanco doing something similar in open play which prevents defenders tackling and that’s not outlawed.

Congratulations Coventry fans. Back in the Premier League and hoping to see a modern take on this iconic kit.

Yep. Bellingham’s learning some awful habits. Complete contrast to the way Bayern played

Very funny wasn’t it. There was the arrogance - couldn’t believe he was being sent off (even if it was by mistake).

Camavinga’s red card was very funny. On pitch 10 minutes, gets booked. Commits another foul, picks ball up and runs off with it thinking there’s no way the ref will give him another yellow. Ref gives him a yellow card until Bayern’s players pointed out he’d already booked him and off he went.

Football lovers around the world rejoicing as Sporting Lisbon and Real lose. Real again refusing to accept defeat with any dignity by remonstrating with the officials. Such petulant, self-important arseholes.

Centre back, Esme Morgan celebrating.

Centre back, Esme Morgan celebrating.

Watched England’s women beat Spain last night. Two exceptional sides with contrasting approaches. Lot of excellent performances but I thought Esme Morgan who rarely gets mentioned was outstanding.

A picture of a library shelf with a small rolled up note on it. The note says “read this” in child’s handwriting.

A picture of the note unrolled. In the same child’s handwriting it reads “beware of the future!!”

Still thinking about this note I found in the children’s section of the public library when I worked there back in 2018. This kid tried to warn us…

Should hair pulling be violent conduct?

Should hair pulling be violent conduct?

Should actually be mandatory and I’d go as far to say that *any foul on Cucurella should be ignored.

Ben Stokes has been talking to the media and it’s cracked me up because it’s exactly the sort of nonsense that comes out of Hugh Bonneville’s character’s mouth (Ian Fletcher) in W1A and 2026.
