Its been a sad drama watching the death of real game journalism (and all journaism) due to youtuber hot take monetization driving culutre. Developers have always just grist for the mill. These articles will keep getting more predatory as they are running out of game devs to grind for clicks

A lot of factors to consider here, including that this isn’t a live service game, but I think the constant doomerism from media that doesn’t even ask developers their metric of success is not particularly useful.

Yeah I still play heavily modded Soulstorm with my son (Soul seems to have the most and best DoW mods).

Station Eleven was so amazing.

Paradise -- yes, watched S01. It was ok.
Common Side Effects -- never heard of it.
Bodies -- never heard of it.
Dark -- one of my top-5 shows of all time.
For All Mankind -- watched S01-S03 and really enjoyed it.
Scavenger's Reign -- absolutely excellent in every way.

Westworld S01 is one of the best seasons of TV ever made IMO. And then S02...

Yeah, so I've only watched S01.

Last year I binged the entirety of LOST and loved it all. Yeah the ending was a bit ??? but it was totally fine and not out of line with the nature of the show. TV from another era and honestly I miss it.
