Philanthropy is an interesting field!

My day job is a catch-all support position - handling lots of mail and emails, arranging for donations of clothes, toys, and art supplies, and some small event planning.

But other folks just do data entry, grant writing, or events so there's lots of options.

But please know that I was internally chanting, "Money fight! Money fight!" the whole time I got to monitor a bid war between two bidders at the same table.

We even had some kids participating - racing to earn $1K the fastest via collecting $100 donation vouchers - which was super cute and fun.

I don't often talk about my job on here, but I am so grateful that raising money for kids in need is what I do now.

I participated in my second gala tonight and while it was a lot of work, seeing hundreds of thousands donated in a single night made me incredibly happy.

For the children. Always.
