An illustration presenting the title of a future webcomic.

Depicting four characters from the story under a tiled pedestal adorned with tropical plants, namely Roberto, a great hammerhead shark with a lunar guitar, Tiago, a tiger shark with a keytar, Aria, a zebra shark singing with a microphone. While a magical tide intertwines behind them with several ghostly fish floating, revealing an unknown human figure among the waves, resting his face in profile under the full moon.

With the title in Brazilian Portuguese “Águas Passadas” (Past Waters), written in cursive and flowing like water.

Por eu me comunicar em maior parte em inglês para que minha mensagem sobre os tubarões tenham maior alcance no mundo, alguns não devem saber que sou Brasileiro. Apenas queria dizer que farei essa história também em nossa lingua.

Espero que gostem! 🦈✨

✨🌊 Waters Gone By 🌙✨

This year, if life circumstances allow, I will try to devote myself to an experimental webcomic to finally tell the story of my Sharkfolk! So I made this little animation to present the title of the story.

Although I'm unsure about it, I hope I can do it.

Had a lot of fun trying to condense the maze of Victory Road into a small diorama like this! Now that all four are out, which one was your favorite?

Zapdos at the Power Plant
Articuno had me on an early spell but soon after Zapdos became my favorite. Plus, he has the coolest habitat.

Is there a most iconic battle scene in Pokemon history than Gengar V Nidorino? Wether you started with the games or the anime, this would be the first battle you'd see.
Fun fact I inked this piece two years ago but figured I'd finally color it for #pokemonth !

a picture of two posters on a grey carpet. the poster on the left is mostly gold foil with silver accents. it features the head of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo from Daft Punk in robot form. his head is gold with a large black faceplate, and he wears a leather jacket.

the poster on the right is silver foil with gold accents. it features the head of Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk in robot form. his head is silver with a black visor and black line for a mouth. he also wears a leather jacket. the posters are arranged so the two of them are facing each other. sparkles and triangles surround them both

a photo of a poster on top of a grey carpet. the poster features the desk from Papers, Please with Jorji Costava at the window. his skin is greenish, and he wears a red shirt. he has facial hair, and has a cigarette in his mouth. the walls are covered in various items you can get throughout the game, and the desk is absolutely covered in just about every item you can have in the game. papers, documents, rulebooks, photographs, keys, and other personal items cover basically every inch of the space. the artist's logo and signature, "HugoArts," is in the bottom right corner. the whole poster has a matching color palette, with a pale green wash over everything

the Papers, Please poster is by @itshugosnook.bsky.social and it's also so gorgeous!! the amount of detail is incredible and I love it :D

Thanks! I had a bit of a "artistic reawakening" this March haha. Changed a lot of my process, approach and even created a palette that I've been using on all my pieces this year. Super proud of my growth in 2025. It's been awesome seeing your traditional sculpts too!!

I was so curious which of the different NPCs from the campaign would be picked by whoever got me in the Secret Santa Art Trade. To my surprise @magvster.bsky.social chose a whole settlement of them

It's been awesome seeing my collaboration with @displate.com arriving in people's homes across the world. Truly one of the artworks I've poured all of my isometric love & greek mythology geekiness into, and it is heartwarming to see the love it's getting.

Roberto, the great hammerhead shark, explores the ruins of an ancient museum destroyed by Typhon's storm. He holds a flashlight and carries a mysterious human spirit in his backpack, who accompanies him in silence.

The place, shrouded by the phenomenon called “cursed salt mist”, is covered in a permanent fog. Salt crystals sprout everywhere and a supernatural presence seem to lurk among the rubble.

The spirit that accompanies Roberto is liquid and translucent. Sometimes little tropical fish of extinct species float around him, as if attracted by his presence.

The museum's architecture is full of organic curves and ornate tiles. Decorated columns show a crab with a human face holding the moon between its pincers, an ancient symbol of a historical figure revered by the sharkfolk.

An allegory of the "Jaws" movie poster that caused damage and negative stereotypes to the image of sharks that persist to this day (I'm glad it's slowly changing, but it's still too slow to be considered forgivable). Now with a reversal of roles, with the human victim replaced by a simple wild shark and the terrible stereotyped shark replaced by a monstrous human skull seeming to want to devour the shark (this is the reality, we kill thousands of sharks every year, many of them killed for irrational reasons, who is the real cruel killer?)

It couldn't possibly take more than three illustrations of #PillarsofPharloom before I drew her, everyone's favorite NPC and everyone's favorite vocal stim of the month, the one and only Sherma. Team Cherry outdid themselves with this motley crew of quirky bugs.
