This bird had gotten lost in the fog and appeared at the IRAM 30-m control room door- more than 1,500 meters above its usual habitat.
After a brief "internship," it was safely released back into nature the next morning.

Just in: UCAR has filed a lawsuit against NSF, the Commerce Dept, NOAA, and OMB to prevent the dismantling of NCAR, alleging "violations of the Constitution and the Administrative Procedure Act."
I cannot reiterate enough with the frequency and gravity it deserves that every reinfection increases the cumulative risk of Long COVlD.
Our PMC survey data (n>2,000) suggest it is rare to avoid LC after 5+ known infections. I'll talk more about that again Sunday night in Becky's Space.
