Should we be adding bi-polar to the diagnoses?

Dead person looks remarkably like Epstein to me...

I'm sure there's a perfect yiddish word for his complete lack of taste, but I can't think of it right now. Gaudy at minimum. So devoid of any real class, and yet he thinks he's the only one with taste. As my Russian teacher used to say, "Makes me want to womit."

Agreed. Like others, previously voted for her, but she is not the right person now. I think the country would go for the right woman, I just can't think of who that would be. Not Klobuchar, please. Tammy Duckworth?

Our 16 y.o. recently was put on a baby aspirin/day and thryroid meds for an underactive thyroid. As my dear Aunt Bea used to say "Aging is not for the faint of heart." What I find remarkable is that this dog and her friend, our 20 y.o. blind cat, nonetheless manage to get around without complaining.

And this hasn't made the front page of the NYT because? Hmmm.

Oh, but he was a "businessman" they thought - yes, one who failed at 20+ businesses!

To be fair, probably also due to his dad.

Sadly, the Bannon case has made it blatantly clear that a Congressional holding of contempt is meaningless. She just won't show.

Great point! In conjunction with his psychopathy, the role of his attention deficit in how he operates should not be underestimated. Any attempt to avoid the Epstein files notwithstanding, his predilection for chaos is another symptom.

Sadly, it is *rump being *rump - to our collective embarrassment. Will he play to his own stereotype and not follow thru? And never mind Congress - a lost cause at this point, when and how will the Generals stand up to him? And will Iran try to give us a taste of our own medicine?

And when will we see something in a Jersey paper about this? Maybe I missed it, but not holding my breath. Note the source is the UK. Not surprising.

Well, that and diverting our attention from the Epstein files.

The difference being, the Republicans back then were willing to stand up to him. Waiting for that day now - but not holding my breath.

The only energy crisis they see is the move away from fossil fuels, and they're trying to do a lot about that!

Wish they were only cowardly. Too many have been brainwashed by the "conservative" movement for the past 45+ yrs and totally agree with him. One thing that has definitely trickled down is a lack of critical thinking skills.

Lowering the cost of anything only makes reaching the deductible more difficult.

What happened? He started therapy? Read a self-help book? Both highly doubtful.

I hope he gets into recovery this time.

We keep thinking we're headed into a constitutional crisis with each crazy thing that happens. Personally, sadly, I'm not holding my breath. Oh, and what will be the next diversion from the Epstein files?

Sadly, not hard to believe

We have a 16 y.o. dog named Skittles that we still call "Puppy." She has congestive heart failure, possibly diabetes and dementia. But she keeps on truckin'. Sweet and loyal, she still loves mealtime and a few brief walks each day. Gratefully, Spring seems to be finally pushing through.

And yet here we are - with no apparent consequences to the toddlers in charge.

Peace would not have distracted from the Epstein files.

They've already given it their approval - by choosing not to debate going to war, they have given it their tacit approval.
Every act taken by the Exec branch after that is similarly tacitly approved. They think this will absolve them of responsibility for the disaster, but not choosing is choosing.

It is a mistake to underestimate them as morons. They are arrogant billionaires whose goal is $$$. Peace is just a means to that end for them. If war gets them there, I doubt it bothers them much.
