The little oni were his means of companionship outside of Kit at the time. They're also the whole reason bones was able to intervein on Dogman and Peaches' almost lethal fight. Bones of course hasn't grown past his trauma completely, but he'd find something of a life for himself in spite of it.💀

One way that he copes with his grief is making it something small and comprehensible- the demon that's plagued him all this time is made into something smaller, cuter and more docile. They roam around the island as a sort of security system. Weak on their own, but enough to alert Bones of danger.💀

Bones has had to live with his grief and guilt his whole life. Despite it all, making a home for himself and living with the very thing that took everything from him (The oni) - It takes a toll on his body and mind but as long as he doesn't abuse the power, he's been okay.💀

Bones' df awakening wasn't a kind one. The oni-oni-no-mi is so volatile that if one wasn't prepared it could kill them and without Angel's intervention it would have been the end of it. And while Bones was saved, the same couldn't be said for his home island and everyone on it.💀

While Siri wasn't a people person per say, she too would find some fondness for the residents. They respected her and her boundaries and over time, that respect turned to a sort of trust and she was able to open up to them in ways she never could working under the world govt. (Sherllyneedsmoreart)🧠

All she's ever wanted as a scientist is to create and discover. While the world govt funded her research, she grew tired of all the rules and limitations and inevitably found herself here. An island she was told was abandoned and avoided. While this wasn't the case, they gave her space to work.🧠

We got a lil distracted, so one more resident before I circle this back around to Bones. This is Siri. B. Cortez, she's an oracle that chose science, this job quickly lead her into the world govt's clutches with her morally grey tendencies. Though she isn't all bad-🧠
