I’ve decided to not cut my hair this summer and let it grow super long so I can bleach and dye my real hair for a Halloween costume. It’s June. This may be the earliest I’ve ever started preparing for Halloween

now that I’m not officially in a leadership role, I can reflect on how much of my brain power used to be dedicated to preparing for and running meetings. I say this not to be like “ugh meetings” but instead.. just recognizing that useful meetings actually take a lot of emotional labor to pull off
