A picture of a rather dilapidated copy of "The picture of Dorian Gray" There is visible water damage to the cover and the plastic cover is yellowing. Obviously, not evident from the picture but there is a truly foul musty smell emanating from it!

Last week, a gentleman returned this rather dilapidated copy of this famous book to us after 50 years. He had found it in his attic!
Presumably this means there is a pristine copy somewhere in our libraries....

BREAKING: New data shows ZERO oil tankers passed through the Strait of Hormuz today, signaling what appears to be a complete shutdown of the Strait for the first time in history.

The Strait normally carries about 20% of the world’s oil supply.

Hmm, Stonewall welcoming Rowling and her attitudes towards trans people seems incompatible with their aims and ignores their history. Stonewall have been an LGBTQ+ charity; how can they drop the T?!

McDonald's says I can 'get epic free rewards' with my loyalty points.
I don't class a free hash brown as 'epic'...

(Even the top tier of a Big Mac doesn't quite compare to Ben Hur or The Iliad.)

Strap yourselves in for my most unpopular opinion ever: this is an indication that the price of petrol is about right now and was too low before.

It's amazing Kenny Canter never got a quiz show gig in the UK. Or that nobody in New Zealand was better than him.

They could do something dramatic like spurring off via the depot and the old alternative railway line on the other side of the valley area somehow, but linking it to Victoria would be nigh on impossible.

"Shakespeare Quote of the Day" app returning an error message instead of a quote: "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made."

This error message is then put on a picture of Shakespeare, treating it as if it was an actual Shakespeare quote.

Is this Red Bank, the large area that's already having towers built adjacent to the railway? Interested to read that it'll have another tram stop. I wonder where they propose to link it in to the existing lines.
