18F was doing exactly the type of work that DOGE claims to want – yet we were eliminated shortly after midnight. Read our letter to the American people:

I take zero credit but it was amazing to witness the perseverance throughout the process! 🦾
It is SO beautiful- thank you to the core R developer team for the support
The community effort to make the penguins data accessible to all R users took almost exactly 2 years to date!! Our first email exchange was February 19, 2023.
Thank you to our international forces of nature that made this happen! @ellakaye.co.uk @HeathrTurnr.fosstodon.org.ap.brid.gy

Meme showing Jason Momoa sneaking up behind Henry Cavill on the red carpet. Text reads: An individualistic model of developer productivity, and Hicks & Hevesi 2024, implying that Hicks & Hevesi 2024 will launch a surprise attack on an individual model of developer productivity
I just posted a new preprint and here it is in memes (sorry)
To all the #pyladies and #rladies out there - if you have a blog or a YouTube channel and want to be added, feel free to reach out! Your content will then be featured by the @pyladies-bot.bsky.social or @rladies-bot.bsky.social 🙌
Yea exactly!
Thank you! I think I may be realizing that my version of DevRel is more product oriented and might be now called a product advocate? 🤷♀️ IDK
Seeking examples of DevRel job postings that focus less on one way marketing to audiences, and lean more toward improving the developer experience. Seen any that speak to you lately? Hook me up 🪝 #dataBS

Exactly- it feels like my hit rate for interesting things is like once a week for LinkedIn, once a day past Twitter, and Bluesky is getting there.
lol yes second bit was the early adopter experience 🧸 but I liked the UI and now that we have critical mass, my following feed is already drastically better than my LinkedIn “career platitudes” experience 💐
Next up in the school email queue: norovirus 😤
💡 Tip: You can set your website as your username on Bluesky!
This is one form of self-verification, and we especially encourage official organizations and brands to do this! Examples include @npr.org @react.dev @duolingobrasil.com.br.
Here's our guide for how to do this:
Everyone should rise up and just write as many "how to draw a part of the fucking owl" articles as we can!
I get why content writers keep focusing on beginner topics, whether it's intro to DS or intro to wtf a heat pump is .. but dammit, we need more people writing intermediate+ stuff
Plus one 😂
We will need a RACI now Tom
who hurt you Tom
Let’s double click on this in a breakout session so we can align
Are they in the room with us now?
Still pretty toxic 💀
😬 wow I’m sorry Josiah
Split-screen view of a Jupyter environment. Left: Python code for setting up a sidecar viewer and loading data. Right: Data table displaying athlete information with 7 sample rows out of 11,538, showing fields like ID, name, nationality, and physical attributes.
This is early days to show... @manzt.sh and I made a Jupyter sidecar for use with `jupyter console` and @zed.dev.
Run `cargo install sidecar` to get access.
lol she and I both started in the last 6 months- so we are just getting fired up 🚀
