But would be amusing to see his response to someone telling him “thanks but no thanks, we want the REAL money from big time wealth”

Or that some probably see these as an easy grift or way to pad themselves for “fees” for hosting event, etc.
Event mars $10k for UW but their management people probably charge $20k to plan it
is it because he jumps for no doubter homers? :)
i get the tech world (and it's reporting) thinks AI is must-have for everything, but Apple would be good to understand what customers want as well, and until there's such a demand for it, it's not something they HAVE to pursue
maybe that's their plan - they can now claim deaths in future could be anything, not necessarily or even likely to be combat-related. as a result, the death totals can't be "reliable" and shouldn't be cared about it.
so basically Northwestern has what Wisconsin had last year, who also had Michigan and Alabam to boot
Since he’s being linked to other teams too, it may be to get their meeting first and hopefully have an advantage even if they don’t close the deal right away. Regardless, I wouldn’t hate it if he gets to pick his coaches unlike end of his tenure in Memphis
If he’s gonna be in running for CY, bar should be 20 W
I’d be curious if there’s any reporting about the owners’ dynamic but Haslems aren’t even running the team yet, so unless one rich guy just rolls over to let the other tell him what to do, I don’t get the direct line to blame Haslem?
Report is he’s getting his 26-27 salary, so it’ll be an off court role with full pay. Gotta pay him all that and don’t get satisfaction of firing him
ha, not just a cease and desist, but then use it on the UW softball jerseys...
due to some bars/beers/products using Wisco&Sconnie over past 20ish years, it's managed to seep in to some random but rare usage, but never go around trying to 'make it happen', Wisco is to Wisconsin what Frisco is to San Francisco, I'm guessing. I'll take that than to be from the 'Nois
I don't care much regardless so i'm not up in arms about it, though if they had been ok with more text, Dairyland in that font would have been sweet
for the hate 'Wisco' gets whenever it's used, here I do get that Badgers isn't something they could really use, nor would Cheeseheads as that would probably infringe on the Packers-verse too much, so it's choosing b/t Wisco and Wisconsin. Probably figured shorten anything makes it cool to the kids
no need, i show up specifically for the Lutheran-centric takes on reverse splits and bullpen usage. Each reference during a pod allows me to feel slightly-less guilty when skipping a week of church
well it's the same word, but that's about it. The W, S, O and line are all noticeably different, but still probaly worth mentioning on the only Lutheran-endorsed Brewers podcast lol
I think they probably wanted to avoid “BEER” as the lettering 🤣
The GOPers will not be happy with Tejas instead of Texas 🤣
I get it from the idea of trying to engage/interest the state as a whole (small group of people who want Wisconsin stuff but have enough Milwaukee-labeled stuff?), but yea when they call it City Connect, probably because some states have multiple teams, and then have a state name instead is odd
It seems that the Griffin hype is much more a certain to be star. Hoping same for Made, but Law described Griffin has top prospect since Trout and I'm not sure Made is at that yet
this is the equivalent to "having a great QB means you can skimp on WR because he makes his WR better".
dude cussing her out has on his bio: "When living in an age of cruelty, every act of kindness is an act of rebellion." lol
ok, only thing i've seen from reports of substance is the entering of portal, nothing of what's being offered. my guess is that as much as they'd like him, Gard would rather divvy up 2-3M or whatever it is to more than 1 player and not risk injury to 1 player torpedoing their season
isn't that the standard thing for most doing the draft workouts though? don't know it automatically means he won't be back if he stays in college. gets a chance to properly gauge his market, etc
Woodruff IL incoming? lol
he wouldn't be able to sign the extension until after the promotion for them to get the PPI pick, correct?
reading this got my hopes up that i missed a Doc firing...dammit
regardless of the abstract of what's 'long', the idea was the shorter the series the more likelihood for random things to happen, which helps a team trying to win at the margins/randomness, and winning at margins comes with an imposter syndrome effect that kills some of the buzz/vibes
my worry is that the delay messes with the Miz mojo, just like a long batter inning can...CB's final gift to mess with Brewers this week
and no doubt there's some lack of luster to being in playoffs more often, etc, but there's no doubt that winning around the margins is great & satisfying for its own reasons, but simlutaneously knowing that in a long series they can/will be outgunned makes the vibes of it a little less fun?
