I’d be surprised if you didn’t love this. It’s probably my favourite show of all time.

Mr Inbetween
Couldn’t have said it better myself!
Hah… you’d fucking hope not!
And then we witness the support hateful clowns like Reform can muster up…
😒
I’m Scottish, I live in the US and there’s not a chance I’m sending a penny the way of FIFA or the USA.
And… I was hoping to boycott the whole thing but the KO times for the group games are 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 10pm on the east coast.
So that’s my boycott fucked.
Fair point.
It’s around the same number for Brexit - my point is sweeping generalisations should probably be avoided if possible.
Most Americans I know are great people, hate the guy as much as you or I do and are aghast at what’s happened to their country and the impact on the world.
The plum won with 33% of the voting public’s votes. They should be thoroughly ashamed but I fear their true colours hold more weight for them.
My point is using the blanket term “Americans” is inaccurate bordering on irresponsible.
Like saying British people wanted Brexit I suppose.
*some Americans.
Most hate the guy and all he stands for.
OBAA is a fantastic movie. My fav for a long time.
Bugonia should be added to your list - I loved that one too!
Does he get paid for this "insight"?
I agree.
But then I wonder IF I will get able to carry out my own personal boycott. Will you?
He is destined for much bigger than us… but hopefully we can help elevate him early in his career for a few seasons at least
Yeah… but the more I reflect upon things then, and how things have unfolded since, the players not buying in and downing tools seems shameful.
Isn’t what you’re asking for the style Nancy was attempting to implement?
Sadly I agree.
Plenty of people care.
However, lots of people will nod in approval - some silently, some now have society’s permission to do it publicly.
It’s horrific but it’s wrong to think nobody cares. That’s what they want you to think.
If MON doesn’t get what he wants in the next week he knows he’s in a very strong and interesting position. Revered by the fans as a Saint, walking out with some carefully worded comments would likely bring down the board.
Part of me is praying for the signings we all want and part of me doesn’t!
Isn’t it only sent to VAR if it’s a clear and obvious error?
Whether we think it was a clear goalscoring opportunity or not - and it’s being argued both ways - if it’s agreed there is a debate to be had then it can’t be deemed a clear and obvious error. So VAR should not have got involved.
Starmer and Reeves are embarrassing. Completely out of their depth in trying to deal with these freaks.
Yes…and most people that voted for him twice did it three times (and would a fourth time). It’s brexit-esque self harm at this stage.
Three times mate.
In his past 3 games Schmeichel has had 4 saves.
He’s conceded 6 goals.
He been paid ~£40k during this period.
Big man looks broken.
Voting for him once was almost understandable for many, considering the lies and promises that were pedaled.
Voting twice completely illogical.
Voting a for him a third time is unforgivable.
You’re dead right…. but it’s not just people in the US I’m afraid.
Ferdinand continues to impress in his post-playing career
Bad news.
The US guys are no mugs it would appear.
Need to drop some poundage to fit into my 1998 kilt.
I’m pleased to hear he’s confident and comfortable with his (fair) assessment of the incident.
The wailing and gnashing surrounding this could have had an adverse effect on his mental well being.
Glad to hear it mate!
