Still busying myself- just finished two of the Portugal paintings today and yesterday. Tomorrow I’ll start working on the 3rd, hope to get to the 4th, too. Leaving UK in 17 days, want to have them all done.

Been busy. REALLY busy. Here’s some of what I’ve been doing.
3 Scotland oil paintings, plus the two already finished, makes 5. Also 10 Scotland watercolors. Will post them some other time. Also have 5 Portugal pieces. Hope to find a gallery to rep me somewhere in the EU. Please pass it on.

Been in Scotland since 8/20 living in a van, navigating wild hurdles & making art.
It’s beautiful. Also very cold. Inverness is on the same parallel as Sitka, Alaska. But full of wonderful places & even better people, & very worthwhile.

Yesterday was great, although very hot. A friend took me to see some antiquities on the outskirts of Lisbon. Nerd fun! Today not feeling well, so took a slow day. Got up at the crack of WTH this morning and managed to put in a couple of hours before Maggie decided to get up [diva that she is]. Good underpaints. Four layers to go.

What a ride. Finally made it to Portugal. Struggles, pain and trouble, but am here. Yesterday I started a little color study, this morning began the first painting in Sao Pedro de Moel. Lifting brush to canvas, finally, in this place brought me to tears. Wish me luck. Still having troubles. Adapt!

Sitting in Newark airport, waiting to board [about 1.5 hours to go]. Suitcase, bag, pets, and wagon all checked. This might just work!

Finally! Flying to Lisbon on 5/30. Sorting pets, etc for this trip has been the toughest part. Now it’s luggage time. Camping gear, best easel, some art supplies- sorting the rest once I’m there. Maybe I should pack some clothes? Will be posting here about our journeys [and artwork]. #Lisbon #art

Impressive cloud, yeah, but not the most amazing I've seen. FYI you need to go to north central Kansas [Salina-Abilene] right about this time of year, to see "super" clouds. Be warned: often it's accompanied by agoraphobia. Making photos that convey the scale is extremely difficult. 10 years there.
