This analysis is even more stark when you consider that Republicans are actively calling for more money to fund their war, but refuse to find a dime for child care, health care, or nutrition assistance to help American families.

The latest cruel reminder to everyday Americans that Republicans don’t work for the people. In fact. They don’t even care when working families suffer.

While Republicans are running scared, Democrats have the momentum and are poised to take back the majority. Last night’s results show we’re motivated and ready to get the people’s House back to delivering results to improve the lives of everyday Americans.

No amount of lies or rhetoric will change the reality facing hardworking American families. Life is too expensive, and it’s because Trump and House Republicans broke their promise to fix the affordability crisis.

Hearing directly from you on the challenges facing our workforce, especially our unions, is incredibly impactful. I will take our conversation back to Congress and continue to fight for workers and their families.

House Republicans are as responsible for the damage and price hikes caused by tariffs as much as Trump is. We’re going to make sure the American people remember this in November.
