The new movie started development as a miniseries and you can really tell they’re trying to cram 4 or 5 episodes of a show into 90 minutes.

People online talk about it like it’s the most heatless story ever but Deathriders matches & segments seem to get perfectly good reactions from the live crowds.

People are always saying this, but I’ve barely seen AEW fans acting this way in large numbers since 2021. Over 90% of what I see from wrestling accounts on X and Facebook is people posting pics of the empty half of the arena at AEW shows and saying the promotion needs to die.

So far every promo that’s been done on WWE tv referencing AEW like that has been met with crickets. I think most WWE fans don’t know about that stuff and don’t really care.
