I just wish I could be mind controlled to do something totally crazy and unnatural. Like maybe finding sex enjoyable
the reason the xbox brand failed is because they forgot their roots
work on namco museum vol. 5 has felt slow thanks to the game rooms.
psxprev was able to import all models from 1-4 without issue, but it simply can’t parse vol 5’s game rooms. so instead, i’ve been using avocado’s 3D screenshots to capture models, then i stitch those together to recreate the models.
desmume ios
successfully did a deep cleaning and thermal repasting on a PS3 Slim today. its idle temps dropped an entire 11 degrees celsius.
i’m feeling pretty good about it.
long live playstation 3
i remember working on the TCRF page for this, and someone removed the Neopets tag with the message “Why is the neopets series box on this?”
they reverted their change exactly one minute later.
anyways, fun fact about this game is that it’s a copy-paste of a flash game promoting Lego Star Wars II
i’ve never stopped thinking about when i checked the mods for Yakuza 7 and got hit with this.
Replaces Funeral Suit.

first image is the base textures, not affected by any lighting. second image is an ingame screenshot for reference. third image is the vrchat scene adjusted to match the game’s lighting. fourth image is my avatar, to demonstrate how absurd this lighting is.
pac-mania house if the walls/floors/ceiling beams were also lit:
fun fact friday: namco museum vol 5's pac-mania room is excessively bright. like, to an absurd degree. to replicate its lighting in vrchat, you need to set the intensity of your lights to 6. that's not normal.
(the walls, floor, and ceiling beams are unlit though)
In WarioWare: Twisted, Jimmy's boss microgame can be won instantly if the console is tilted 720° in less than half a second. In practice, this is achieved by literally physically throwing the console.
dotonbori!!
Now he is dripping on it repeatedly. Note the dripping sounds.
when i saw this, i involuntarily said “minmo….” in a wistful tone

A fabricated statement from Nintendo of America's Twitter account addressing a fictitious scenario in which the Earth's oxygen supply is presumed to be depleting at a rapid pace, leaving humanity with mere days to live. "This is Miyamoto. On behalf of everyone who is employed at Nintendo Co. LTD and its subsidiaries, we deeply mourn the countless human lives which will be lost due to the depletion of the global oxygen supply. To anyone who has ever played one of our games, we are eternally grateful to have created long-lasting fun and memories for you. To ease the suffering of families and children across the world, the Mario Kart World game for the Nintendo Switch 2 system will be available as a free download on Nintendo eShop for the foreseeable future. We hope this small gesture of kindness will ease the pain as humanity prepares for a worst-case scenario." The statement is distastefully plastered with logos for Nintendo and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as with a render of Mario from Mario Kart World.
A fabricated Twitter thread responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement. John Default Profile Picture: "No one read this statement and thought it was distasteful? Why did Miyamoto think this would help anyone?" NintenDeen: "Simple: Nintendo is so depraved that they'd exploit a global crisis to boost the player count of the failed Mario Kart World and force consumers back into the Switch 2 ecosystem to boost sales and player numbers."
A fabricated Twitter thread responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement. PlayStation Nation: "What the fuck are you doing falsely advertising sales during these trying times? I went to the website and Mario Kart World is still selling for $80 USD." Kremling Kevin: "If you actually read the statement, it clearly says the discount is available on Nintendo eShop. Meaning the application on the Switch 2 itself, not the web browser version." PlayStation Nation: "Point still stands."
A fabricated Tweet responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement. Isaboner: "Nothing for Switch 1 owners?"
Had a dream that there was global panic about the world running out of oxygen, Nintendo was the only video game company to make a statement about it, and the internet collectively spent its final hours on Earth debating whether Nintendo was being genuine or not
i may be stupid.
i’ve only just now realized that bad bunny is like, a real person. he’s a rapper with a career and stuff.
when i heard there was a “controversial bad bunny show during the super bowl”, i just imagined a bunny mascot putting on a performance in spanish. and i never questioned that.
turns out remote player hitboxes are larger than the client player's hitbox for whatever reason, and that's the heart of the issue here
how hard could it be to synchronize a moving platform across two clients?
oh. uh. that's not supposed to happen.
m&ms adventure on the wii is the king of exposition

Namco Museum Vol. 5 Metro Cross room ported to VRChat/Unity
currently, i have a pretty accurate recreation of the scene using a directional light and exponential fog. this will suffice, (and may even be preferable if you desire a smoother look,) but i'd *really* like to mimic the per-quad fog effect (most noticeable on the green Slip Zones and the windows)
