Our latest paper on the jump kinematics and choreography in the Oz Splendid Peacock spider. We filmed & analysed locomotory jumps in male & female spiders. With 12 photoreceptor classes, mantis shrimps have highly complex eyes. A study from Justin Marshall's lab shows behavioral evidence for color opponency, shedding light on visual processing in these eyes.
