Prerelease thoughts on TMNT:
Set is fun as hell in a sealed environment. I dunno if it'll shake up any formats but there are a ton of fun cards for some Standard brewing and possibly some cards that will see Modern play.
In closing:
Stop listening to out of touch content creators about a sets worth

I blame the rise of super big WhatNot sellers. They buy up so much product that distributors will give them more allocation and leaving LGSs high and dry after the first run.

The card even without the the activated ability it *pretty good* early game. Though, I think splashing blue in these colors is pretty easy in this set. I think archetypes are a nice baseline but this would be an easy include, even if I didn't have the blue for his activated ability.

TMNT Prerelease weekend slapped hard. 4-1 on Friday, taking third. Then ran it back Saturday and went 3-0 to take first place. Super fun set for limited #mtg #tmnt #mtgtmnt

Unless you are a Standard grinder, you don't have to buy anything from this set. Skip it. Oh, you are a Standard grinder? Buy the singles you need a move on. Don't like the direction Magic is going? Take a break! Get into a different TCG then comeback, no hard feelings.

If this cards art bothers you, let me hit you with some advice:
Touch grass. Please. Go the fuck outside. It's a card. It's turtles playing Magic. It's not that deep. Don't like the set? Don't fucking buy it. Buy cards like it but that don't apparently touch you in bad ways.
