I'm very fond of Oninaki, the gameplay is a lot of fun and the story is pretty good overall (there's a lot of average elements to it but when it hits it's truly great). I consider it a hidden gem and I'll always recommend it
The original and Twin Snakes being different on that front is actually a good thing because they offer different experiences rather than being a copy paste of each other but I understand people getting defensive about their beloved game
Brilliant game! First of all it might be my favourite game visuals of all time, it's creative and gorgeous and has so much charm to it. The gameplay is a lot of fun, the characters are great, so is the music. The story is incredible and I love that it's a proper war story, horrors and all
I love its campiness. I love the characters. It has the best set of villains in the series which might honestly be its strongest quality. Unfortunately I'm awful at MGS so my enjoyment was hindered by the frustration of being bad but I love this game
I've been summoned to tell you guys to (re)play Engage and embrace its campiness (+ Ivy is right there)
LoS2 I flipflop on because the ending was a disappointment and the lack of a proper map harms it. However, there are so many good ideas in this game, it's fun to play, it has a good atmosphere, the story works and the music is brilliant. Its main issue is just not committing to the modern setting
CotM has a brilliant presentation and I love the idea of the cards system but in practice it's a pain in the ass and depending on your luck with drops it can drastically vary the game's difficulty, and grinding 100% is not a fun time. The characters are pretty meh as well. It's just an average game.
I was debating playing the first one so that's nice to hear ππ»
The first but add 5 as well because I'm curious
Seen this going around and I want in
Le backloggd if you want to check if I've played the game you have in mind: bckl.gg/hLIl
