Not to say I am not letting myself feel things or whatever. I allow it but let it go really. So it’s not dismissive but also not controlling if that makes sense?

Because well, think about it. If you think of something a week ago that made you upset - it automatically is mirrored into the moment since you’re reliving that. But it has nothing to do with here and now unless you let it.

I think mastering that is important. For me anyway, haha.

I say “training” as in my mind specifically. I had an experience the other day where I was able to steer my mind away from things outside me. So I know I am getting better.

I do this because I want to maintain my focus.

I do try not to ruminate on the past or even yesterday too much. It’s something I am “training” myself on. Just to be more focused in the present. But yeah, it’s easy sometimes for your mind to drift so much into the past or so far into the future. But what matters is the right now.

I am both a hard ass and a big softie believe it or not. As I have gotten older I’ve had to be more firm and well, inevitably I have changed/matured too. I shield my soft side a lot since it’s a sacred side to me. Very protective of it. But it’s there despite my aloof and distant vibe/exterior.

Ngl, I miss a lot of people on Twitter 😔 Or just in general. I probably come off as that I don’t care but I do. At least, I still have good memories with people over the years. I hold onto those fondly.

Started watching Witch Hat Atelier! Yeah, it's super good. Agott is my favorite.

Started watching Mao!
Read the manga a tiny bit some years ago. Never thought it would get an adaptation but I'm happy about it. The more Rumiko works adapted the better I say 😌

Mao is very much an alternative Inuyasha of sorts. So I feel you can't go wrong here.

Japanese Gothic is so good… I binge read so much that I had to make myself stop.

I intended to do some time on both of these books but Japanese Gothic grabbed me and said: “Fuck your gay shit you’re reading haunted samurai house” 🤣

I will leave the physical writing side of things for my self studying. Very excited to start doing that again.

6 days later… I did my first journal entry 😂 I can see myself doing this more but sporadically. Even that is good though! Just something new I wanted to try and I think it’s definitely useful for me. Typing > writing it out too for sure.

Plus I want to make sure I finish the things I start. So before I move onto anything else I focus on these. I put off Sunrise on the Reaping but I will go back to it after these most likely. Especially before the movie comes out.

Still going through the audiobook of Careless People (Sharah Wynn-Williams) as well. I just have 3 hours left of that. So 3 books total. I don't want to have anymore books/audiobooks besides 3. I can do that with my webcomics/manga stuff but that's easier in comparison.
