Latest @needlemythology.bsky.social arrived today. Sound F-A-B. Big fan of 80s post punk/psychedelia stuff from Liverpool so nice to add to my collection.

Nick Grimshaw is doing an excellent show this morning to honour Bowie. The music choices are spot on.

Has anyone else noticed the Paul Daniels sample on the new Mobb Depp album? I always thought the Wizbit theme was a big influence on hip hop #musicsky

Great night Pete. Mike was lovely and funny and clearly a fan of the band he was in. It also reminded me of the time I saw Julian and someone called him a pretentious c***. His response was to jump in to the audience, find the offender and threaten to lick them!

Fantastic evening listening to Mike Joyce talk about his time with The Smiths. What a warm and funny guy. Can’t wait to read the book.

@petepaphides.bsky.social just read the Ted Chippington piece and enjoyed it. Made me think of my favourite part of the King Rocker film they arrange an interview with him and he doesn’t turn up, they leave that part in and just show an old interview instead. Very Ted.
