It's a real shame because I hope Sony doesn't shutter @bungie.net but I can't see them making #Marathon fun overnight. I'm keeping an eye out for any new updates but find the PVP focus so grinding & toxic. There is only one way to play Marathon & that's to just kill anything that gets in your way.

Worked perfectly! I even have support for "thousands" of colors. Shame I don't have more time to play with this now but I'll come back to this little project. It's been on the back of my mind for months and can't believe it finally works. Full Proxmox VM management for classic macs, now for PPC 😉

Think this is almost working. I treat folders on my NAS as mountable disks. The template has a boot disk, a empty drive, and all of my installers. So I just need to clone this template, install System 7 from scratch, remove the boot disk, and bob's your uncle. Basically emulating disks via shares.

I fixed the SDL software renderer, locked the resolution's aspect ratio, and now I have a network share mounted natively in System 7 so I can easily transfer files back and forth between this emulator and my NAS.

You best believe Shuffle Puck is getting installed! I played the shit out of that as a kid. Trying to figure out how I can map a network share as a native external drive so I can have one central place for all of my mac disks to easily install in these VM instances.

Having some fun with @proxmox.bsky.social . Recompiled Basilisk to sit on top of a thin Linux client and now I can remote into my own person Mac Classic VM whenever I want!

It's not bad but I had a lot of issues trying to pass the raid controllers directly to Proxmox as a pass through for my Unraid VM. I had to create virtual drives for each one which was a pain in the ass. I have a Minisforum N5 pro at home which is much better. For Jellyfin, you'd probably be fine.

After buying & setting up all this hardware, I figured it was time to get a server rack & organize it. The front looks way better than the back. Still a work in progress, but I definitely leveled up my sysadmin skills since everything turned on & worked the first try! #AI #ML #IT #GameDev #BFreeLabs

After weeks of learning #Proxmox, I finally got a virtual drive setup using an #Unraid VM share → Proxmox dir mapping → #Win11 VM → VirtioFS → WinFsp, with zero performance overhead. Now my VMs have shared, expandable storage without pre-baking network drive auth #Virtualization #VMs #DevOps #AI #ML

You're not kidding, I'm 38 minutes into setup and no end in sight for these updates. Most of them won't even install. I've yet to see the new @xbox.com fullscreen experience yet.

I'm setting up my "Xbox" & this is one of the worst onboarding experiences I've ever seen, especially for a gaming handheld. @microsoft.com did the bare minimum to slap an @xbox.com logo on the Ally X. Taking this personally because I was pushing for something like this when I worked there in 2012!
