Work was stressing me out so I took myself out to lunch. I’ve been meaning to check out this place for a while and the burger was delicious. It’s only a couple minutes from the farmhouse.

Since other plans didn’t happen today, we got a desk and dresser moved between houses. I now have desk here with 2 monitors for working from here now. And moved clothes from the bin under the bed to drawers. And moved guitars from the bedroom into the office space.

We’ve been getting some turkey visitors.

Due to all the rain last night and temperature dropping, plans are aborted for today. ☹️

I started to read the article, but it was making me physically ill. This is horrendous.

I want to hear from men. I want to see men talking about this online ra*pe academy and how utterly abhorrent it is. Women talk about this all the time. We've said enough. I want ALL men to stand up and scream about how disgusted they are and how dedicated they are to ending this culture of violent misogyny. How bad do things have to get before 'good' men realise they need to be a part of the solution?

most men I follow either never post or never share anything regarding anything having to do with social or political issues. Nothing on genocide, economic inequality, ra*pe culture. They just don’t. I don’t think they’re lacking per se but I don’t think they are empathy first either.

It won’t always be easy, but it can certainly get better.

So on Friday I did something I never thought I’d do. I bought a pickup truck. The truck was my partner’s dad’s truck who passed away recently. It will be in both our names. She put a photo of her dad in the truck visor.

My long todo list is not going to get done by staying in bed, so caffeine has been acquired.
