This is one of my absolute favorite combos. The sweet pineapple balances the spicy tang of the jalepenos, and the ham grounds the whole slice with umami fervor.

Jerry Lawson, the inventor of the video game cartridge.

Jerry Lawson, the inventor of the video game cartridge.

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.

The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.

Happy Black History Month.

These two lifting bodies paved the way for the shuttle program and many of the modern flight controls required for unstable aircraft like fighters and missiles.

A small sampling of the research UAVs they have on display. X-36 is by far the coolest looking one.

OP standing in front of the F117

My favorite aircraft is the F117, and I've been trying to see one in person for almost a decade. I finally had an excuse to go to the museum of the Air Force:

They are so good. ๐Ÿ˜ Other scifi that I like (but less cozy) is: dungeon crawler Carl, project hail Mary, and the Bobiverse series

It's still cool. I am going to put a fingerprint somewhere in something I make now, because I can.

My beige flag is that every time I walk into someone's living room, I wonder if I should tell them about how there's a recommended viewing distance for TVs.

This is really cool! I love it when older algorithms get new implementations.

Just curious, did you have a use case for this? What can you use random fingerprints for?

It's so easy but most people don't know how much better it tastes than a store-bought stock. Any soup levels up from homemade stock. I made tonkotsu broth yesterday, which is just as easy.

Made a synthetic fingerprint generator that runs in the browser! You can download them as SVGs. Used a 20-year-old algo called SFinGe that hasn't gotten much love these days. I think they look really goood!!!!

The grid pattern cut is a material test file generated by lightburn. In this case I was testing q-pulse against number of passes. I'm trying to sneak up on just barely cutting through. It's not working very well.

I'm still working on dialing in the fiber laser settings, and haven't had much luck. It seems like the second I cut all the way through the copper the FR4 chars extensively.

Implantable SSH credentials | Evan Pratten Using somewhat-sketchy crypto to become a walking private key

On DT forum the user ewpratten wrote a blog about storing private ssh keys on his implant. I think that is a fun concept.
You can of course use a rfid ring or a card or a toy-2-life maybe :)

Anyway, its a fun hack!

I purchased a 30W fiber laser and I've been very slowly learning how to use it. I'm trying to etch PCBs so I've been working on getting the settings dialed in. I have a long way to go but starting to get usable results.

That is not true! You were conserving energy and tactically awaiting the right time to strike like the persistence hunter humans are.

Poe is hoping you underestimate him. That's how he lulls you into a false sense of security before he chucks the snowball at you.

I could see those looking very cool in a shadowbox, with maybe a 4dprinted movie reel or something to add depth
