I have no children and therefore no grandchildren, but I need to be able to look at myself in the mirror and sleep at night.
Last I checked, Mr. Mastio, the point of an editorial department is to remind readers of what's important and what should concern us. I think newspapers telling citizens our government is being led by someone who's unfit for office is important, don't you?

So deeply embarrassing for the United States. Trump legitimized Putin and his illegal war on the world stage and got absolutely nothing in return. Not even a single step toward peace. Everyone involved in this charade should be ashamed.
Cover of Dark Fantasy No. 22 (1980), published by Shadow Press. The title is printed in bold, stylized yellow and black text at the top. The central illustration features a medieval knight in armor leaning against a large, leaf-covered tree, holding a bow and arrows. A castle is faintly visible in the background. A diagonal black-and-yellow banner across the bottom reads, โNominated for 10 SPWAO Awards.โ Price is listed as $1.50.
New from Internet Archive Canada: Queenโs University Library has digitized a collection of rare, self-published sci-fi & fantasy fanzines, making long-lost voices from 1940sโ1980s more widely accessible.

The "Leopards won't eat my face" crowd aside, I've seen two different videos where people risked their lives and the lives of others, in order to retrieve their bags, instead of evacuating a plane, that's on fire, in a orderly manner.

When I watched the original Dawn of the Dead, I thought this was an idiotic scene. However the older I get, the more I realize how representative it is of humanity.

I need to do a monthly donation again.
The cashier at the grocery store told me my total for groceries was $173.34. I demanded they be fired and replaced with a cashier who will tell me I only owe $40.
This is what weโre doing now, right?
Actually Moonbase. Invasion is his first appearance as Benton, though he was corporeal at the time.
Yeah I keep forgetting about that, even though it's my guilty pleasure story.
I personally consider Lethbridge-Stewart and Sgt. Benton companions mainly because they've traveled in TARDIS. Both in The Three Doctors, and Alistair from 2 different time periods in Mawdryn Undead. Plus Alistair was taking by Time Scoop with the Second Doctor in The Five Doctors.
Interesting officially BBC doesn't consider Sara a companion, but back in the day most fans did. Katarina (who is even shorter lived than Sara) still is though.
I knew about the Yeti but not the Cybermen.
Apparently in the late '80s there was a concept for Optimus to be a Headmaster, with his companion Roller. The video has the concept art for it.

Sadly only 4, as I decided to stop and rest today
I joined very late but I still got one lovely attack just today that I wasn't expecting at all!, yet I'm happy I did because I've improved a LOT with my new style very fast thanks to it! ๐

This surprisingly relaxing footage is from SIX MILES under the ocean โ and itโs the deepest ecosystem yet discovered
Just read the โwe need progressive voices that talk about men getting laidโ piece and the first thing that comes to mind is:
Are the men, ok?
Like wtf. You donโt get laid, so you turn to bad dudes online that fill you with rage, misogyny and violence?
I dunno.
Go get a healthy hobby instead?

#ArtFight thread time! Some will be reposts, some new! Starting with 1/43, Halo, who I also drew first last year and I'm excited to show a new drawing this year (and maybe even draw him first next year, too!)

Be advised there's some nsfw in the thread.
I think the Doctor only uses it as a last result and refuses to consciously choose a new face (like when the Second Doctor refused to accept any of the choices shown by the Timelords). Eight becoming The War Doctor (in Night of the Doctor minisode) is the only time he chooses to regenerate.
Also Jean Marsh, as short lived companion Sarah Kingdom, then Morgaine in Battlefield (also a minor character prior to Sarah). She is also Jon Pertwee's first wife (though that's not really relevant to the conversation, but I'm a big Jon Pertwee fan.)
Romana revisiting the face of Lady Astrid
Romana feeling a little blue.
Romana going for bust.
Romana raising the bar even higher.
Some fans:
"Going back to old faces or shock 'stunt casting' undermines the importance of a regeneration"
Romana:
"Hold my pint."

I love Tom Baker, who's 6'3" had look way up to the last one. She was like 7' something.
Funny enough, just saw The Armageddon Factor with Lala Ward as Astra the other day on Pluto.
Leave it to Piper to piss off the Angel of Death ๐คฃ
