I didn't mean to turn this into a short thread, but once I started ranting ...

I've come to believe that anything is possible in politics, including cover ups, scapegoats & poor choices by civil servants.
But quite frankly I don't care why he appointed Mandelson when this pales into insignificance against the restoration of my country post Tory which this govt has achieved.
Please repost if you agree that the BBC has been undermining democracy and enabling foreign interference in our politics by promoting and protecting Farage.
Another 11 announcements and achievements ignored in the main by our wonderfully biased media.
Feel free to share widely so people can see what this Gov is putting into action.

Meanwhile the likes of Johnson, Farage and the rest, grin, waft and gurn their merry way to comfortable riches, inured to the catastophe they delivered upon the country, egged on by the bloated wealth of our offshore press owners.
And so many of the malign and inflated ego failures who landed us with their catastrophic Brexit still get political attention. Johnson, Farage, Davis, Frost, Gove & many more - all should be consigned to history as utter contemptible failures yet still get to play a part in our national life?
THE NEW WORLD (front cover) ISSUE 476, MARCH 26, 2026 | UK: Photos of part of Reeves’s face and part of Starmer’s - side by side with text superimposed on their faces… BREXIT WAS It's only taken them 10 years... A DISASTER .. but FINALLY the government agrees with us OFFICIAL
10 years of cost, red tape, business closures, lost opportunities, emboldened prejudice, national insecurity and social division.
A total waste of our time, resources and patience.
But refusing to face up to that has been the most dismal part. Political cowardice and dishonesty on an epic scale.
Royal Mail directors claim that 98%+ of 1st and 2nd class letters are delivered within 2 or 3 of days of expected day. They are getting duff information. Anecdotally, we get letters once every 7 to 10 days, as are friends up and down the country. Something badly wrong in RM.
A Labour graphic stating I just voted to expand access to free school meals and lift 100000 kids out of poverty
Last night, Labour MPs just voted to expand free school meals to half a million more children, lifting 100,000 children out of poverty. 📈
Disappointingly, the Tories and Reform UK voted against the measures. 🤷🏻♀️
Only Labour will give children growing up in our country the best start in life. 🌹
Badenoch, Polanski are very quiet. Davey is making silly juvenile points.
This governing mullarkey is not easy, is it guys?
Starmer: “President Trump has expressed his disagreement with our decision not to get involved in the initial strikes, but it is my duty to judge what is in Britain’s national interest. That is what I have done, and I stand by it.”
Round of applause for you Starmer
👏 👏

Very carefully fails to mention protecting children from sexual abuse as one of his "observations" ... it would be BIBLICAL were any actual criminal prosecutions undertaken...
You are deliberately conflating Epstein with Starmer. There is no link between them. Maybe focus on the widespread corruption, gangsterism and sheer criminality including child sex abuse in your own pond.
FFS - 15 years of corrupt and catastrophic Tory government are soon forgotten at The Guardian - Starmer / Labour is a busted flush, let's put in peril the overwhelming Labour landslide Starmer won which is actually, steadily doing good things.

🇪🇺 "In recent years to see the London Stock Exchange on its knees, to see good jobs lost, actually losing out in a way we could never have imagined to competitors in Europe."
🫠 Can anyone think of a major political event that made the British economy less attractive - maybe around 2016?
People trying their very hardest to make something of this story ... but no one is really interested in journalists being investigated for once, given the history here.
Brexit cost us far more than a 4% ( more lile 6%) reduction in GDP - it's been a political, economic and cultural disaster for the UK, especially the young. Show some honesty and stop pretending Brexit was anything other than a catastrohe for the UK.
Who better to have as Chancellor than Robert Jenrick, the man who helped a billionaire pornographer avoid £45m tax in exchange for a £10k donation.
You've hit the nail squarely on the head. Sad that the Guardian is happy to pay nepo "journalst" Adrian Chiles for his schoolboy pieces, but has mostly abandoned Labour.
Best watched with no sound ...
Why is Starmer so unpopular bleats the Guardian whilst failing to investigate Farage in any meaningful way.
Ratcliffe suggests in his non apology an "Open Debate" about immigration to the UK. I would prefer an open debate about the rich moving abroad to dodge taxes losing the right to a UK passport, and disqualified from being a director of a UK company.
I will never understand how this man has accumulated the wealth he has... he's as thick as mince. He can't run a cycling team, can't run a football team, chooses to avoid UK taxes, and his politics are primeval.
Eh?
Looks like he’s shitting himself in the street, probably.
Little grubby rat scraping around for bits of crap to spin to an exclusive.
Fck off.
Brewers have bled landlords dry for a generation - they have blighted the pub estate and now want taxpayers to make it all good again.
Yep.. let's go marching forward to the 1950's ...
Here's my statement on today's events.
