Checked the Motorhome solar contoller this morning, the leisure battery was full power by 08:30 .... 2 days in Belgium off grid, raining & overcast, using satellite, tv, chargers and lights....and we only went down to 80%... the solar kit is the business for off grid living

Been a busy two weeks...with a trip to Belgium for the start of the Classic season, back to a full diary, Mum in Law in Hospital too. Now booked for 3 Bike tours in the EU this week....2 in France and 1 in Spain with a larger calendar on the Tour agenda for 2025

Right.... I'm off to Belgium tomorrow in the Motorhome for the start of the Classic season.... Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and KBK.... plus a few cheeky days away and buying some "gifts" in the shape of bike parts.... I'll post updates on my travels

Off out with only 2 of "the boy's" today for the weekend ride... the others are busy ... Working tomorrow as I'm away in Belgium next week...m

Miss R just messaged.... she's bagged herself a new Teaching job in a smallish sought after Village school and lead of maths too....

He said the cassette had a wobble.....

it's Seven bookings Sunday....... seems folks are really getting Spring ready..... busy week as I am off to Belgium on the 20th for 6 days....

Some "quality" components to work on this morning..... ugh.... the shifter was goosed (and you should see the inside of it) and the derailleur (an Altus lookalike) was terrible.... never mind, challenge taken and new Shifter/Cable and tune up...and it works....

Busy bike week again..... mostly little bits of fettling like cables and tuning (it's that time of year) as people doing the minimum to get by until the end of winter..... 2 kids bikes to sort today....damaged at School... yep you read that right... lovely these secondary school kids

Nice fiddly job day today, early start tomorrow..... Tubeless Tyre set up to do and 2 road bike services as well, the bikes are coming out...

Off out on an E-bike puncture....then a tubeless tyre reset/refit/sealant followed by an out call for cables....
Hopefully the deliveries will actually arrive today

Back already from Halifax.... nice easy run up, Lorry fire Southbound nr the A57 junction...well alight when I drove past.... A1 was closed on the way back there and the M1 nr Sheffield so a convoluted route back via Scunny and Retford to Newark & A1 south

Bike repair/service bookings coming in thick and fast.... itś getting the parts for some that is the pressing issue.... got a 14 day lead on some parts which were once on a peg in a shop on display..... Brexit was not you friend

So following on from the Balance Bikes I built for free for a local Primary school.... I learnt today that their Bikeability lead trainer has won a bid for 6 Frog pedal bikes....which will need to be built she tells me....

School bikes coming in.....on the day they return to school.....lol.... every. single. time.
Koksijde Cyclocross on later so I'll have one eye on that while working...where virtually I will be in Zeventem, Belgium not in my Cambridgeshire Workshop where I actually will be
