Never gonna happen, too much money at stake.

We did this, and voters couldn’t handle it. Curry played 51 games in 2017 and made 3rd team. LeBron played 55 in 2018 for 3rd team. Embiid missed 29% of the 2020 season and finished 2nd in MVP.
And the 65 game rule wasn’t all about restricting the voters, it was to encourage players to play.
Holy shit get Curt Schilling off my TV.
Consume lots of national media. There is nobody close to Jaylen for the final spot with Cade going down. It was Luka or Jaylen before, now the both get in.
He's a lock for first team barring a complete no-show the final 10 games.
Make the 65 game rule (or 60 games, or whatever pleases the masses) only apply to first team and mvp!
I understand the consternation over the 65 game rule given the Cade news... but certainly there is a number of games players need to play to be considered one of the 5 best (or the MVP)?
So what is it?
I think the best suggestion I've seen is that 65 games is just for MVP and 1st team all-NBA.
You mean the back-to-back-to-back defending champs with the the guy about to win his 6th straight MVP? Hard to count them out.
Oh wait, what's that? I've been being lied to for several years about how good this team is? Turns out they've beaten one 50-win team in the playoffs in the last 5 years?
Bam getting 43 free throws on a night Jaylen got tossed cause he just wanted 1 is certainly something.
Haven’t consumed Inside all season, didn’t miss it.
Crazy how there are all these complaints about "too many 3s" but they aren't at the expense of paint shots. 3s just replaced long/bad 2s.
"He will play this season" is news.
Hey man, had this post saved but would really like to reply to your worst Mazzulla take with a big "haha" - mind just linking me to it so I don't have to go through all your posts? Thanks.
Which award has it cost a deserved winner in your eyes?
1/2 already!
Pritchard to the bench and Tatum returning.
Have to love the irony that less than a year after your dismissive reply to me, that whether you think Luka is a top 3 player is now the perfect litmus test for whether someone knows ball or not (he's not, and he's closer to top 10).
He has a .706 ops in the playoffs dating back to the start of the 2019 playoffs, a 45 game sample.
Aaron Judge at the peak of his powers is a .700 ops singles hitter?
Fair enough, you’ve got a data backed model and stick to it…
But you may need an adjustment if a team just lost 8 straight to the other and is behind them in the standings and your model says they’re ahead.
How are the Yankees and Astros ahead of the Red Sox?
The yankees have a worse record and are 2-8 against the Sox.
The Astros are 1 game ahead in a weaker division are down 2-4 in the season series.
One of my favorite memes/photocapped tweets has always been “Do people who post on LinkedIn know that we’re all going to die someday?”
Despite the loss man returns!
Wut
Their has to be a new arena coming. Was already a strong likelihood the new Celtics ownership would want one, this only increases the odds.
Doesn’t change anything about what I said.
Suarez is a known commodity having a career yr that he’s unlikely to keep going at this pace let alone repeat as a 34 yr old with a career 113 OPS.
Suarez is having by far the best season of his career at age 34.
Mason Miller is 24 and one of the best relievers in baseball already.
Understand why you’re making the comparison but they are not all that similar.
My hope would be they act as though he’s not here and go and get a Yandy Diaz.
Deal with that situation when Casas is playing again and it demands a decision. He’s got a long way to go.
I keep thinking I'd like the Sox to get a 1st basemen, then think about Casas and how I believed in him at one time... and am very curious where the front office is on him and how best to navigate this. Is he still your guy? If not, how do you get his value back up? etc.
24 that I’ve actually left the airport and done some kind of activity (meal, sporting event, saw a friend, etc.)
27 if airport stops count.
