France passed a law requiring solar panels on every parking lot with more than 80 spaces.
Equals 10 nuclear reactors
Reduces heat island, shades cars
The US -- 800 million parking spaces. Most of them are uncovered asphalt sitting in direct sunlight.
Why aren't we doing this?
I’ve realized something: writing doesn’t really happen without a sense of comfort.
And I say this because without free time or some level of financial ease, there’s barely any space left to think. Trying to build an inner world on top of that can feel genuinely exhausting.
Great speech, dude.

You can see pretty clearly when the President decided to reassure a worried nation.
When the narrative shifts this fast, it’s not evidence of a conspiracy, it’s evidence of a lie struggling to keep up with itself.
Lies trip you up when your story changes.👇
Is It Still On Netflix ?........
if giving up and letting AI corpo slop infest an entire creative medium is to "man up" then ig I'll continue to woman down
this is a choice, just don't use it, it's literally that easy

A picture of Trump's negotiation meeting with Iran.
Today, I voted against confirming Markwayne Mullin to be the next Secretary of Homeland Security.
Seeing ICE detaining people at airports is so sickening and so are the details about the LGA plane crash. Just a fraction of the money they’re using to brutalize families could be spent on rehiring air traffic controllers, who they fired so they could brutalize more people
And the hardest part is this—
not just that you’re gone,
but that the world kept moving
like you were never
my whole world.
I miss you mom
in ways words can’t carry.
And in this crowded, noisy life,
I have never felt
so completely
without someone
to talk to
There are things I never said,
stories I saved for later,
questions only you could answer
now they echo inside me
with nowhere to go.
Grief is a quiet room
where I sit alone,
holding conversations
with memories
that cannot respond.
I reach for my phone sometimes
not to call,
just to remember
what it felt like
to have someone
who would always answer.
People say “stay strong,”
as if strength is not
just another word
for swallowing tears
when no one is watching.
As if strength fills the space
you left behind.
I used to measure time
by the sound of your voice
morning greetings soft as sunlight,
evening prayers wrapped in tired love.
Now the clock just ticks…
loud, hollow, indifferent.
The house still stands,
but it no longer holds me.
Walls don’t listen.
Chairs don’t ask how I am
Illustration of a clearing in a dark forest with pools of water on the ground among the trees and vegetation. In the water is a reflection of a cityscape with skyscrapers in vibrant orange and yellow with a bright blue sky, contrasting with the murky blue-green colours of the woods. In the far distance an early sunrise can be made out through the trees.
In an ancient forest, shallow pools reflect not the trees above, but a luminous city of elsewhere.
My shortlisted entry for the Cheltenham Illustration awards. Inspired by the changing landscape, childhood (and adulthood) fantasy, reflections, exploration of strange places...

Tweet by Acyn quoting Robert De Niro criticizing war, rising prices, deportations, and government violence, saying Americans did not vote for these outcomes. The image shows De Niro speaking in a studio interview setting.
De Niro has it right. The American people can agree on some things after all.
