As someone who prides myself on being on the cutting edge of cool fashion, I agree that these are both fashionable and deeply cool. They absolutely don't make you look like an even more perverted Jerry Lewis.

I imagine the language here would read pretty weird if you don't know who Telly Savalas was or how he talked.
I actually think Rudy saved a lot of people by accelerating the timeline of awareness.
For the most part, getting large numbers of people to kill people requires work. Militaries, regular or otherwise, expend a lot of effort to turn off the "don't kill someone" switch. You don't have to do that with a machine.
(Caveat, machines have made turning off that switch for people easier)
We're Number Four! We're Number Four!
Spending $250 million to buy an election was literally nothing. Not "he could afford it" or "it was a worthwhile investment" or anything. It was literally nothing.
Palantir fash bullshit about how some cultures are good and others are bad, and how pluralism is destroying the West.
The thing with this Palantir shit is that "Western culture" or whatever was unceasing continental warfare culminating in WWII and the Holocaust, until the institutions that these idiots despise were created and a tentative peace has been maintained.
I'm debating between continuing to read or to watch an old movie. Or HOT FROSTY
I have always admired your courage
It is not bad in a good way! You don't have to do it, Jacki!
I like the JD Vance stuff but the stuff at the end -- "Because they're crooks...and everybody knows it" -- is going to be key messaging.
Turned on Knicks/Hwks and realized it had been quite a while since I've seen Quinn Snyder. He looks extremely different but also exactly what I'd imagine Quinn Snyder to look like after years in the wilderness (coaching Atlanta)
There are things of interest to dedicated basketball fans in NY/ATL and CLE/TOR. Lakers/Rockets is interesting to "hey I know those guys" fans.
Nuggets/Wolves is only marketable to the "literally anyone who enjoys sports" demographic, so you see their dilemma.
Lies aside, it is amazing the TPA people cheering that the Strait is open, like Trump just did something amazing, like it had never been open before.
Weird rolling dark clouds with thin streaks of lighter clouds
The clouds look like the delta of a vast river.
I know it's my dumb lib fantasy but I want this blown up 100 times in his congressional hearings. I want this to be in every article written about him. I want this as the only signpost marking his fucking pauper's grave.
Yeah, and there are so many "famous" people now; I don't know how famous people are supposed to know every shitheel influencer. The Tates are close enough to actually famous, but Fieri doesn't seem the type to pay attention to those kind of people
The only Popes in my lifetime who were "entangled in politics" have been Leo and Francis. And Benedict. And JPII. And maybe the guy before him, Fr. Died Quickly. But that's it!
That is perfectly put. Everything was about how bad the government was. I always think the quintessential actual Gen X representative is not Kurt Cobain but Steve Dallas, from Bloom County.
One thing other Gen Xers on here forget is that most of the stuff we hated came from our peers. The bullies in 80s movies? Those guys were Gen X!
Just because most of us who ended up here were stereotypical "Gen X" doesn't mean we are typical of that rough generation.
Does the Pope even know that America is the "hottest" country in the world?
Yeah, I was at a pretty high level in my field, and I haven't found a job in it it like 18 months. Even very few interviews. It's bleak!

NBCC member Diane Josefowicz reviewed "Happy Land" by Dolen Perkins-Valdez for The Providence Eye:
No, you're right. There was something about "open secret" that felt very weird, but i reacted wrongly to it.
Pumaman flying over Hormuz(?)
OK Trump didn't go to the splashdown but the rest of it is going to happen, right?
I felt the old sacristy urge when I started sharing a ballclub with the Pope, but his visceral hatred of and enmity toward JD Vance, and Vance's phony-Cath hatred, almost has me back in the pews.
Yeah I don't get these journalists being like "we all knew, you should have too!" Maybe I missed their stories on it.
Yeah like at some point it just can't be a thing anymore. If Ben Shapiro made White Sox hats a symbol of the Right I'd have to stop wearing them. That's just the way it is.
