We started the Easter holidays with Freestyle, our annual residential trip.
Our youth workers took 31 young people to Walton Firs Activity Centre for three fun filled days and the opportunity to try a variety of new activities.

Last week our Making Good project took place at Surrey Care Trust's Gateway Community Garden.
The young people had a great time making compost bins, building a path and learning new skills.

Our Making Good project gives young people the opportunity to give back to the community.
During half term we went to Elysian in Horsley to feed animals, help with some weeding and build raised beds for vegetables to be planted.

20 years ago LYP was started by 3 local churches & the district council with just an idea, an empty hall, little funds & yet to have any employees.
20 years later, the same hall is buzzing with young people daily, our team of 11 work across the whole borough and our stories of provision are many!
This year Ben Sayers is taking on 8 sporting challenges to help fundraise for LYP! So far he's completed Britain's Toughest 10k, two half marathons and an ultra marathon. Still to go are 3 triathlons and an ironman! If you would like to donate, please click here:
