Has anyone built an android app with a working frosted layer?

The first pic from android is the closest I’ve got to it being frosted. Whereas in the second pic what it’s supposed to look like and is working on iOS.

The designer in me can’t in see the bottom is larger than the top half. (Could be the angle the pic is taken) but very much hate these new versions of RA2.

Not to mention the many many examples where the arrows are positioned incorrectly!
