This week some of our members attended the celebration of Robert's life.
Robert was our Chairperson, a wonderful self advocate and a brilliant trainer. We were shocked and sad when he died unexpectedly last month.
Robert was a brilliant leader in our organisation and we miss him.

To join you must be 18+ have a learning disability, come to a monthly meeting and live in Norfolk.

We have also been working hard behind the scenes to change our charity over to being a CIO. This is just a safer type of charity and will help us run things ourselves safely and well.

In July this year we worked with Healthwatch Norfolk to run workshops across Norfolk finding out what people with #LearningDisabilities know about #safeguarding

For the last 2 years we held an amazing event run by and for adults with learning disabilities in Norwich.
Sadly, we won’t be running a Healthy, Happy, Safe event this year because we didn’t get the funding.
We are working hard to bring it back in June 2026.
