getting a little sick of people silencing transmasc voices because "theyre men" and ignoring the fact that they still exist and have grown up in the same violent patriarchal society we all have to exist within
listen to trans men. we are all fighting the same fight here this infighting is ridiculous
bit of a double announcement here but uh

HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO TPOMTOICS. It does not feel like it's been a year already lmao. feels like 2 years and 6 months at the same time, no in-between. It's been an extremely rough and gruelling year for us since the album released, but one that has equally been massive in our self-discoveries. "The Parts of Me That Only I Can See" is a very important album to us. Not only is it the debut for the TWYLIGHT project, and our first steps into creating music seriously, but what it means to us personally. Heres a bit of lore: An idea of an album was started in mid-2023, but only a few out of maybe 8 or so tracks made it onto TPOMTOICS, some others onto Heartache EP, and then we scrapped the original idea, since it wasn't cohesive enough for our liking. The change started happening when we met Fordus during a music production event in 2024. We made a song together in a couple days that was so grand, something we loved so much, we wanted it on the album. "sorry, i zoned out" set the course for the rest of album's overall identity. It legit wouldnt be the same without, it fit the vision that perfectly.
Some tracks from TPOMTOICS have been made years ago. Some in 2020-2021, some in 2023-2024, but most of the album was very quickly made after early August 2024, when something clicked with us. It's not entirely a secret that the album is about our initial experiences with plurality and major dissociation. August 2024 caused a major awakening (one of a few) in us, and when it happened, the album was done. within the next 3 months. It had to be done. After finally finishing it, we cried and were happy with it, but we were very anxious to release it, due to the album's very personal nature of being so far disconnected from reality and losing our mind(s) in the blend of it. But we're happy we did. The support given was very touching, and gives us more motivation to continue working on new things, and express ourselves! However, theres still a few unreleased tracks from the project that are planned to release, as we wrap up the album and it's story, and move onto our next big things! "The Parts of Me That Only I Can See (Deluxe Cut)" is being polished up, and will release soon. (hopefully)
TPOMTOICS VINYL UPDATE. (again, but unfortunately...) Simply put, the plans for vinyl of TPOMTOICS are on the farest back burner until it's feasible again. Theres a lot happening with us right now, and it's best we take time to focus on our upcoming music plans and extremely stressful life changing things before tackling this. Apologies! We definitely wanna get physicals of our music, but until we're able to attempt to cross that bridge again, we gotta refocus a bit. Hopefully the deluxe release of the album will free us of our sins!
WHATS NEXT FOR TWYLIGHT? The next major album for the project is nearing very close to full completion. However, it'll be a long while before it gets released when it does finish up, for there are other things planned this year. Such as a single release on the Kyoruka project, and the start of a new major alias project. But more on that soon. That's all of the updates and slight bits of lore! We seriously thank all our friends for help and support during the production of TPOMTOICS and after. And we thank you, the listener, for supporting the album since it's release. Our biggest hope is that those who have similar experiences can feel less alone, or find better understanding within themselves. This is for you! THANK YOU, MORE TO COME SOON. BE SAFE AND WE LOVE Y'ALL! - Twilight, Casper & Kris. (TWYLIGHT)
