Hacks season 5 Reviews - Metacritic Deborah Vance (Jean Smart), a Las Vegas comedian, mentors Ava (Hannah Einbinder), a 25-year-old writer in this dark comedy from Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello and Jen Statsky.

87 Metacritic score for season 5... I must have been watching a different show. Hacks has a great first two seasons, but nosedives after that. It's not sharp, fresh and original anymore. Just rehashing.

No one on this platform is going to do anything about Palantir. Switching email providers is already asking too much.

Daily and monthly killings in Ukraine has reached WO I proportions. Drones are killing soldiers faster than they can be replaced.

The new implant icons in Marathon are tonally off to me. I hope they do a refinement in an update.

Absolum deserves more love/conversation. I have a nostalgic fondness for the side-scrolling beat'em up, but while the new Street of Rage and TMNT games were fun, modern entries, they didn't solve the genre's inherit shallowness. Absolum does.

Best in the genre, and looks absolutely sick.

Ukraine Has Written Off the United States Zelensky has stopped pretending that Trump might be an ally.

Latest in @theatlantic.com The Ukrainians are now longer pretending that Donald Trump's USA is their friend. Their honesty is important as they seem to understand how much Trump is helping Putin and how important it is that Europe stick together. Gift Link. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

After several hours of playing Forza Horizon 6 it's already clear: I am in love with its Nissan Silvia - and it's learned something brilliant from Ridge Racer Our hands-on thoughts on the already brilliant Forza Horizon 6.

Looking forward to this, but I hope I don't have to suffer through that cringy festival nonsense of Forza 5.

Is AI the greatest art heist in history? New technologies of reproduction are plundering the art world – and getting away with it

Opinion | The Case for Looking Away From Suffering We’re told that constant attention is a moral duty, but averting our eyes can help us reflect and respond.

I’m sure the rag for the rich feels the need to advocate looking away from suffering ‘to contemplate...’

Good to be reminded that professors can draw ridiculous conclusions, and write needless essays that could’ve been summarized as: ‘stop doomscrolling'

@marathonthegame.bungie.net is a masterpiece. The only AAA game apart from Elden Ring and Baldur's Gate 3 in the past five years that obsesses me.

The brilliant art direction is obvious, but that sound-design too... /chef's kiss.

It's on Sky Showtime (in NL) right now. Surprising, as I expected it to be on HBO. Only ever saw the DVD so nice to have a higher-res version.

It was always easily in my Top 5 but while I rewatched The Soprano's like 6 times, Deadwood I did not. Started yesterday and it is indeed so good. Love it when a piece of fiction gets all the synapses firing.

I watched Wolf Hall recently and that had the same effect on me. Brilliant show that!

Very few new TV shows are able to hold my attention these days, so I thought I'd give this a rewatch instead.

Wow. That opening episode alone has more pace and plot than most shows have in their entire run. They really, really don’t make them like they used to.

Jetzt op Prime geloof ik. Zeker niet het gezelligste voor de vrijdagavond, ook geen perfecte serie, maar Cumberbatch acts the hell out it.

If the training data is human input, the moral choices your A.I. model is going to make will lead to hell.

I thought we figured that out thousands of years ago? There is a book about it and everything. Also, read the news.
