Oversimplifying something in order to avoid civil discussion and draw a conclusion as soon as possible isn't a healthy way of communication, and it's stunting your ability to understand others and yourself.
If you truly believed what you just said you wouldn't need go get defensive about it. And please don't misuse the term "guilt trip" when it's not appropriate here. Also it's next to impossible to reason with someone using generalisations and black&white language like "bad person", don't you think?
You don't have any friends "on" a website. They're all people, who exist outside of the internet and can just as easily as you download a different free app. A specific app you perceive your friends to be "on" is just the method of communication you're used to, but absolutely not the only option
