Since I have nothing to do for 2 hours I wrote about the end of cheap agentic coding due to Open AI drastically increasing usage rates this week.

That's easy, its the only one with vent access.
Good read, I've struggled with some of the same issues as I've adapted to letting cli agents do most things. Did you have rate limit problems on the big plan?
We're gonna make Amy "I vote for ICE" Klobuchar our next governor and there was no DFL challengers. Why?
Actually HotCock420 they're almost always pulled from there during the development process and built on the app level, not directly hotlinked like this as its a massive security risk.
I wrote about how Anthropic is clearly in trouble, capacity wise.

Its not, most people still use React and 10 years ago we were writing classes in JavaScript and using componentWillReceiveProps

I wrote about comparing 3 different coding agents on a tough feature. #devblog #webdev

The only difference between our generation and the previous one is that they won't leave power.
Well its a better cat name than Negative Infinity I guess

I don't understand the appeal of "fast" coding models. I don't care when its done I just want it done right. If the fast ones could do it both right and fast, it would just be the base model. What's a use case for the Max Power coding agent? "You'll get to code review faster"?
without looking, biome?
Play Ultima 4&5 and Archon imo
I'm a frequent r/all flyer and had to pause at the r/catbongos post. The sole mod had apparently had enough. Good for them. I had to make a similar message on an old discord I usually leave alone.
Not to blog but I'm like 2 weeks from the launch of this thing and I dunno what to do to make it.. "less bumpy" and your post here spoke to me. Something that I think won't change no matter how good they get. They find lots of stuff, its great, but I have no fidelity.
If you're solo devving a big project, what really should be done in this situation though, when your only code reviewers are these things?
Exactly my experience on all fronts and I simply bomb out my weekly tokens with ridiculously productive stuff, both C.C. and codex. With them reviewing each other's work - if I can explain it well enough, and we walk through a plan - it will just work. No matter how complicated a feature.
To be "fair" I then asked it what if there was extensive jsdoc/typedef in that JS, and it said "I'd be at roughly 80-90% of TypeScript effectiveness."
Out of curiosity I just asked both claude code and codex how much "harder" it is for them to write code in JS vs TS and claude said 30-50% more tokens in JS for a medium feature. Codex grunted at me.
Is it still locked in to node v18? Any sign of Bun?!
Who is a z list American celebrity who had the opportunity to say or do the right thing years ago, who finally found something sadder than than a hot girl in a wheelchair?
Bring it.
Super close, but its actually "You're on Substack in 2026? Welcome to my blocklist"
Big Rogan fan, I take it.
Every single one of the people at the top of the prediction markets for the dem nomination still has an active "twitter" account and I will be DAMNED if I'm ever voting for another one of these cloutgoblin types again.
"I've got the perfect video to explain that right here"
You spelled her name "Green" twice.
Agreed, lets be very careful how we euthanize Chuck Schumer. Humanely may be going to far.
I was gonna wait for 1.0 but someone gifted it to me on steam so it would have been rude to not put in 60 hours of EA. =/
