Canada’s boycott wasn’t organized. It was organic.

Reasons from friends, family, neighbours and Bluesky suggest it’s because Canada has a high literacy rate and over 60% of us have a college/university education; we listen, we read and quietly make up our minds. One Canadian at time.

Hungary's election is a reminder that no matter how much a dictator rigs the system, there's no defense against nearly 80% of voters showing up…

Remember that.

And a great painter too. He had a second home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. When I was on holiday there years ago I saw him walking in his paint covered overalls heading to market. Fun moment.

Victory Gardens revisited. I have two plots now. And while it takes some funds to get the soil good and fertile - I’m amazed how much I can grow and offset grocery prices. From greens to potatoes.

An Open Letter to Members of the Legislative Assembly Working towards the recognition, implementation and exercise of our inherent Indigenous Title, Rights and Treaty Rights

Will no one in the media challenge this statement that Canadians elected a minority government? It's a deliberate misrepresentation of how our system works. We vote for an individual MP. A minority or majority govt is a question of math, not individual voter intention.

Gosh. My mate and I met over 20 years ago at a house party on Lakeview and Churchill. My heart just missed a beat. Fond memories of many evening strolls in this area.

Fun wee story. Years ago, visiting family in Portland. Young nephews building a nasa space station…we asked ‘where’s the Canadaarm?’ They were forced to find out - in a playful way but we made our point! 🇨🇦

The gaul of those so fearful and insecure to inflict their unresolved rage on others seems to be the ills of our time. Shameful.

This is what a timelapse of sleeping seals looks like. Seals can hold their breath for up to 19 minutes and even nap underwater. While sleeping, they sink and periodically swim to the surface to breathe.

Yep! Even when I moved and didn’t have gp for years- all of my healthcare needs were met via women’s & walk in clinics and emerg. Any procedure I’ve had done over my life, I’ve been treated very well. I understand that is not always the case. I support universal healthcare for all!

We all must speak up, & speak out in support of Public Health Care ✍️🧑‍💻 www.pm.gc.ca/en/connect/c...

'“Is today – April 17, 2026 – going to be the last anniversary of the #Canada Health Act? The answer is in your hands,” the letter concludes.
“Canadians will remember what you did.”’
