it did take a few years of pondering, and a few months of delaying putting a website up, but I did land on a description that fits entirely on the tagline section of our home page: "A conference about the technology we build and the people we build it for."

⁃ Even if Astral actively (malice) or passively (neglect) ruins uv, Python packaging is 1000x better today than 2 yrs ago.
