I'm told by the author that she has updated the survey to make specific mention of board games, and apologised for the omission.

The goal here is not necessarily to determine whether or not Gen AI is a negative impact on the tabletop industry, there seems to be broad consensus that it's not, but instead to try and identify trends as to how it's impacting people and what the specific issues are.

It's odd that it doesn't mention boardgames! I'll raise that with the author.

I don't think it's odd to include caveats as to how the data will be processed, and having checked in last night about the results to date we're not seeing a pro AI outcome, I can assure you.

Given the number of people who have already told me they've responded with the declaration that they don't use AI at all and think it's abhorrent, I'm not convinced that bias is going to play out.

This is an extremely stupid decision on their behalf, especially when fully separated toilets in their own rooms (like portaloos) are effectively exempt from the regulations around separate sex provisions.
