Weird. I did have the clip editor glitching out and stalling a bunch, like jumping around or not playing at all or freezing for seconds, so it took a few tries to make the clip I linked. Twitch must have made some changes that make clips generally buggy π
14 days until the 2026 Canadian Census! ππΈ
That's so weird! π I just double-checked and I get audio for it in both Firefox and Chrome, both embedded on BlueSky and directly on Twitch, though on Twitch, I need to unmute it, since it seems to be muted by default.
I clipped this a few days ago, and it seems to play the audio okay for me on Firefox π€ bsky.app/profile/tawn...
If you search for "KT event" on Wikipedia, this is what comes up: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cretace... What's @ocarinia.bsky.social got planned for this donothon? π¨
This Tomodachi Life game seems like it might not be what I thought it was. I came into a @clamlynn.bsky.social stream with a raid and saw this ππ www.twitch.tv/clamlynn/cli...
I've had this open for 11 days, and my brain is like "Oh dear, what *are* my interests?" π΅βπ«
I hope you feel better soon! As my partner always tells me, remember to breathe, breathing is more important π

Good to know! Still amusing to see an "Unknown error" error message. Not that I haven't skimped on error reporting myself, and permissions issues are a nightmare, but they could have left the error message without the "Unknown error" part and it would have been plenty πΈ
The layers to this... glorious π
It's wild that Matt Damon may be remembered more for his singing role in this movie than the Bourne movie that came out that year. Sorry, Ocean's 12, the cool laser dance scene couldn't save the movie. The Butterfly Effect was cool. So many others. I watched so many movies back then.
It's such a terrible movie: homophobia, biphobia, glorifies cheating, other things I don't know if I can mention on BlueSky... yet something about the over-the-top absurdity of it brings a smile to my face, as one of the last movies my friends and I watched before university. I may be a bad person π€
I used to think I have no idea what I'm doing, and then I worked at a big, supposedly prestigious company, and realized that a vast majority of people in the software industry have even less idea what they're doing than I do, except they *don't* think they have no idea what they're doing π΅βπ«
Twitch warning message saying: Are you sure you want to send this? TawnyCodeCat: They don't allow "Super Lesbian" or "Super Amazing Lesbian" or "Super Awesome Lesbian", but they do allow "Super Awesomely Amazing Lesbian", and they also allow "Super, Lesbian" with a comma tawnycXD Your message may contain words that could be considered offensive or disrespectful. Did we get this wrong? Let us know.
lol, wow, I was telling someone about this in chat, and Twitch hits me with this warning that my "message may contain words that could be considered offensive or disrespectful" π
I already have a silhouette for my pngtuber's glow outline π I turned the base image into a signed distance function (each pixel value being the distance to the boundary, or negative if inside), then applied a falloff and colour map to that to make the glow. My pngtuber is by @patooie.bsky.social π
"Super Awesome Lesbian Catgirl" is blocked, "Super Lovely Lesbian Catgirl" is blocked, "Super Awesomely Amazing Lesbian Catgirl" is allowed?! Also, "Super, Lesbian Catgirl", with a comma, is allowed π Okay, I gotta stop trying out stream titles before Twitch starts thinking I'm a bot πΈ
I know the feeling π΅βπ« I tried to think of a good example, but I thought of too many and got stunlocked, so I'll just go without an example, lol.
This is bizarre! I've confirmed that Twitch won't let me title my stream with "Super" before "Lesbian".
"Lesbian Catgirl" is allowed, "Lesbian Super Catgirl" is allowed, "Super Lesbian Catgirl" is blocked, "Super Amazing Lesbian Catgirl" is blocked, "Amazing Lesbian Catgirl" is allowed π€¨ wtf?
They're so out of touch with modern audiences, the execs will torpedo their own movie to make sure they only put out bland slop that makes no sense and appeals to nobody, by trying not to "offend" anybody (investors). I know it's not new, it's just way past embarrassing at this point π
I watched someone go through the changes that were made to Elio by Disney/Pixar, to remove any gay-coding from the main character, and they didn't even bother to make changes to make the plot make sense after removing the main motivation of the main character, they just cut it out at all costs.
I should clarify that this is entirely me speculating from GLITCH's statement sounding like they want recognition from the "traditional film industry". It doesn't get more "traditional film industry" than the Oscars, who require a theatrical release in at least 10 U.S. states for at least 7 days.
Sorry for the hot take, I just figured people might have learned from the whole saga of YouTube previously being seen as a stepping stone to land a "real" role on TV (LOL!)
I'm overgeneralizing, but the "industry" seems like a bunch of washed up hacks who think anything animated is for kids, and "real" cinema needs to be boring and gritty and made for old white straight men living their hero fantasy vicariously through the movie. Do you really *want* their validation?
It seems like GLITCH is trying to get an Oscar nomination for TADC, needing a release in theatres first, and maybe they're right that it'd get the attention of the industry, and I truly wish them the best. Also, fuck the Oscars, and like with YouTubers and TV, stop chasing legacy media validation!
I've apparently streamed 39.5 hours in the past 30 days! It's still a little stressful bringing myself to start stream, and I still need to figure out how to have a schedule, but I'm very happy that I've been able to keep at it π
I made it through 2 or the 3 movements before my fingers were too sore to continue. Only small blisters, but I'll need to let them rest for a few days πΈ
