I’d need to be on a salary of £82,000 just to cover the interest on my student loans at 6%. I’m by no means struggling financially but this seems insane for most people they’re not getting anywhere near that and all the while just accumulating more fucking interest.

THIS IS INSANE

If it was 3% I’d actually start chipping away at the interest and actually reduce my balance. HOW DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE

I just checked to see if the freeze of 6% will reduce the total balance of my student loan debt and nope in 5 years it’ll jump up by nearly £10,000 whilst I’ll have paid £3,350 a year.

I’ve never really cared I’ve just accepted this but fuck me this is bonkers.
