Just as a male police officer won't interview or doctor won't examine a girl/woman alone, a school administrator shouldn't interview children alone. That is an extreme power imbalance and children, even if they are guilty of something, need to be protected. We need to do better for our children. /🧵
Schools need to do better handling these situations. They can't hide behind not being AI experts. The images could have been made with photo/video editing software. What then? Punting it again? The male administrator who questioned these children alone should face consequences for poor judgment.
Women and children tend not to report sexual abuse because they tend not to be believed. They are blamed, dismissed, accused of exaggeration, you name it. It seems that happened here. If the school didn't plan to address it, why bother to investigate it? Why put the girls through the humiliation?
When a child comes to school with evidence of abuse, in PA, the school as a legal obligation to report the abuse to law enforcement & Child Protective Services. These children went to officials at the school & reported their abuse. Radnor SD punted because it occurred "off campus." Was it reported?

Everyone needs to vote. Look at the voter stats on who votes. If non-Boomers want a larger say in how the government works, then the numbers of non-Boomers who vote needs to increase.
