Writing "fuck ableism" is cathartic in any poem, I'm finding. Also trying to find different ways to say it is my writing prompt for myself rn.
I'm writing poetry again and I'm actually having fun for first time in I don't know how long. It's taken a lot of time to heal from the ableism the spoken word poetry scene had/still has. I've been writing it's just the joy of playing with words is back.
