The truly great news is that doesnt matter. I saw them dangling from a very large sweetgum tree that i hated because it dropped those balls all over the yard. I had considered illegally spiking the 4 story tree. Anyway they were dangling from the tree mid day on 6/17/16 and that changed everything.

Burt and Hal Needham called humpy wheeler after smokey amd the bandit to buy a nascar team. They partnered with my ex girlfriends dad, humpys childhood neighbor who humpy wanted to help get into racing, and they became the skoal bandit team. Skoal bandits were named for the movie.
