It's not everyday you see that on a Silent Hill leaderboard

NEW VIDEO!!!
NOT TREASURE HUNTER is a cinematic adventure game released in 1996 on the PS1 that boasts over 50 ENDINGS (yes, seriously) depending on how you play.
It's incredibly ambitious, and also possibly one of the most unintentionally hilarious games I've ever played.

No worries, the boards got weirdly confusing when they split it about 3 ways. It’s understandable
I saw this and kept wondering what you are talking about.
That's the time for 10 Star in the Enhanced Edition Mod.
The time I posted is Original game on Hard/Hard which is this second leaderboard.
The Enhanced Edition is its own thing and isn't the original game. I did the original game
It's 100% the world record for Hard Mode. The old time was 43:04
I'm still amazed it actually happened and it's nice to know I'm not washed up. It will be beat in a week but for now I can enjoy the dub
Silent Hill 2 Hard Mode Speedrun World Record.

I GOT THE SILENT HILL 2 HARD MODE SPEEDRUN WORLD RECORD AND THE FIRST SUB 43!!! LET'S GO
Speedrunning is a choice to replay some of your favorite classic games. Sometimes it's a mistake.
I'm Ecdycis and Welcome to Jackass The Game - 100% speedrun

So apparently I just locked in and managed to get a Silent Hill 2 Hard Mode PB for the first time in YEARS??? Even wilder is my splits can actually be considered WR pace now
97 hours later and we finally got the true ending and beat Mewgenics fully!
This has easily been the longest game we have ever played on stream and some of the most fun we have ever had.
Why did the Jackass PS2 game have a permanent VTuber on the screen
I've been meaning to catch up on more uploads since I have mainly been streaming like mad. To make up for lost time and to play a bit of catchup I have a new speedrun for you
Welcome to Doll Town - Beating the game in under 30 minutes to get a Steam Refund

Red Ninja is a unique stealth game that uses fixed camera angles to really make you feel like a true ASSassin
Mewgenics is quite the long game but I think I've come up with a cool category that explores the game nicely but isn't absurdly long to run.
Mewgenics Act 1
Here is the debut speedrun after all the routing was done with hopefully more to come

Picking them up in 2026 they have definitely aged a bit, but it's oddly one of the most satisfying franchises I've ever played through and in a way I miss games like this. I'm hoping Yakoh Shinobi Ops can recapture the magic of Tenchu and overall it's a nice ride.
It was clunky, the camera felt like I was fighting against it constantly, it had some of the most outlandish executions I've ever seen in a game. Yet playing through these games has made me miss a time I was never a part of.
Tenchu has been an odd franchise to explore. It's not the best game I've ever played and it's story is nothing exceptional. Despite all of that it has managed to stick with me in a weird way as it feels like the perfect game to describe someone's weird retro favorite.
Tenchu Shadow Assassins is a game made for the Nintendo Wii
I haven’t posted the times as much for another run but I’ve started speedrunning Mewgenics and got a pretty solid route for a category I think is neat. The Cat RPG got me
So I liked Fatal Frame 2 Remake and decided to get a speedrun routed for it
Fatal Frame 2 New Game can be beat in about a little over 2 hours! Pretty tight game albeit the combat takes a LOT to get used to. The time can go way down.
Welcome to Doll Town is a game that basically delivered nothing that was advertised
This is a video showing the full game and also exploring every bit of the map to show just how little is actually present and the dev coming in to chat about it.

I decided to speedrun Welcome to Dolltown and beat the game in under 30 minutes.
The whole game has 3 mandatory fights where none of them let you do the wrestling moves. 2 are entirely missable.
There is 10 minutes of real gameplay with about 20 minutes of mashing dialogue.
Even discounting any AI assets this was rough. I beat the game twice hoping I just missed something and it was the same thing but worse. It was 100% marketing hype with 0 substance
Welcome to Doll Town is the most disappointing game I've ever played. Anyone who has purchased this game is actively being robbed and it's genuine false advertising.
Half of the content advertised isn't in the game.
5 total fights
1 whole missing hub missing from the steam page
Wicked Seed speedrunning has begun and this is a nice start to the route. The game might get broken up more or things might change but we are looking at a nice time and what is apparently the current World Record as of today.

It was a damn fine game
It's a banging Parasite Eve clone with gooning outfits. The games default outfits are mostly tame
Wicked Seed is actually a pretty damn good RPG Horror speedrun and we beat the whole game in under 2 hours. We can definitely do it faster too.
This all is pointless however because apparently in development they ran out of time. No final boss encounter despite one spawning in, no heroic sacrifice leading to the end. It literally just stops. An unsatisfying "That's it?"
An originally cheesy story had me extremely invested in the fates of Karne, Matlock, and Kenzo. It was wild how seamless the game played with the 3 of them and the story drips kept me wanting to learn more and more about their fates and the build up to the very end.
